Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, La Delizia Estense del Verginese is a castle decorated with blackbirds, with a long porch overlooking the Brolo, Renaissance garden perfectly preserved. Next to the castle there is the Vinaia del Sapere, recently renovated building that once was the drying room, intended fot exhibitions, meetings and cultural activities.
The castle and the nearby Vinaia are ideal environments to organize conferences, workshops, meetings, presentations, work meetings and team building, offering spaces and equipment to accomodate business groups.
On request it is possible to organize coffee breaks, aperitifs, tastings of local products and lunches, in collaboration with local activities.
The location is also exclusive for the opportunity to combine the corporate event with an additional moment of fun and aggregation, such as a guided tour in the company of Laura Dianti. Inside the Delizia you can also admire the Archaeological Museum "Mors Inmatura", an exhibition of Roman archaeological finds from a small necropolis discovered a few steps from the Delizia.
Once the home of the d'Este Family, Delizia Estense del Verginese is today one of the few delights that testify in the territory of Ferrara the greatness and importanceof the lords of Ferrara. Donated by Alfonso I d'Este to his last companion Laura Dianti, the Delizia looks like a castle adorned with merlons and surrounded by a garden, the Brolo. Reconstruction of the ancient productive garden that surrounded the villa and that offered fruits from spring to autumn, the Brolo allows you to discover the habits of life in the Renaissance.
